SECTION8tactical CCS Ring
The CCS Ring was developed for those wanting an easy way to secure a tactical flashlight or round object to tactical gear or to easily attach a lanyard to the flashlight. The CCS Ring is designed to accept Cord, Clip, and Strap mounting hardware, hence the name CCS Ring.
The CCS Ring is basically a rubber piece with 2 holes molded into it. One hole is round for the insertion of a flashlight via a friction fit. The other hole is rectangular with 2 round ends that are sized so that a standard 550 Para cord or a 1 wide hook and loop strap or a clip can be inserted.
Once the CCS Ring is placed onto the flashlight, a number of configurations can be used for attaching the light. With a 550 Para cord or a lanyard, the CCS can be configured to be either securely mounted or as a break away feature if the light might be subject to misuse.
The CCS Ring is designed to rapidly mount to almost any flashlight from any manufacturer with a flashlight body diameter from about 20 mm to 25 mm. This range encompasses just about all small hand held flashlights in the market. There are no tools required and it can be removed in seconds if desired. No set screws or damaging hardware is used.
As an added bonus, the CCS Ring provides a good surface for operating a flashlight by holding between the index and middle finger and depressing the tail cap with the fat of the thumb even while wearing gloves.
